By now, Greek chapters and their alumni organizations have been made aware of Cornell's changing liability insurance requirements—or more specifically, Cornell's tighter adherence to longstanding language in its recognition policy. In short, Cornell is now mandating that it be listed as “Additional Named Insured” on chapter liability insurance policies. This language effectively allows the University to submit claims against chapters' policies even when the chapter has had no role in an incident.
